Luna reflects our perception of the moon’s movement across the sky, from dusk to dawn. Clulow aimed to capture this shifting presence using overlapping geometric shapes with varied tones, creating a sense of motion and transition. Luna is an abstract, personal interpretation of the celestial body. In the creation of Luna only aquatint was applied to three zinc plates, varying acid exposure times to achieve tonal differences within the print.
