A continuation of a planetary series, in conjunction with the Mars print. Venus, the celestial body represented here, is known as the planet associated with love. It’s the antitheses and romantic partner of Mars in Greek and Roman mythology (Venus and Mars were lovers, presenting two sides of the same coin, love and war). When looked at from afar the terrain of Venus is smooth and wavelike, but when closely inspected, more variation in texture can be recognized. It is known to be the most brutal planet in terms of environment, with a surface hot enough to melt lead. This duality of a beautiful appearance but harsh condition can be in itself a euphemism for romantic love, making the duality between Venus and Mars that much more intriguing.
